Tonia Polak is an author of children's fiction. She lives in a haunted house in the wilds of British Columbia, with a ghost, two dogs, and three cats. Her garden is overgrown and full of weeds, but it's the perfect place to sit and watch bees all summer long!

She is an experienced pediatric nurse who has cared for children all over the world, including countries like Macedonia, Ecuador, Australia, Canada, Libya and Iraq.
